Since 1985 Rita & Bill have been designing silver and gold nugget jewelry and was the first in the state to make the combination of silver highlighted by gold nuggets jewelry line. They have sold their jewelry in Alaska, USA, Canada, Mexico, and Japan. Rita has a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art. She designed fabric and is a well known silhouette artist of over 48 years cutting portraits out of paper all over Alaska and USA. She was asked to open up Japans Disney World in 1984 but turned it down to raise a family in Fairbanks Alaska.
