Our story began in 1929 in Arlington Park Illinois when Gilbert Wilke opened a modest one man shop. After moving to San Gabriel, Ca. in 1946, Gilbert and his son, Glenn, opened a shop specializing in fine jewelry, and a collection of fine estate and period pieces. Years later, in 1998, Gilbert's granddaughter, Krista and her husband moved to Carmel, Ca., and opened WILKE'S in its current location. Pam and Phil Finnerman acquired WILKE'S in 2008, and today, after more than 75 years in business, WILKE'S specializes in authentic fine antique, estate and non-vintage jewelry from bygone eras right up to the present.
