In 1984, Islamorada Jewelers was established by husband and wife team Joe and Lynn DePaula in the Florida Keys. They sought to run a business built on honesty and quality that also celebrates the island lifestyle they enjoy. Their first shop was located in Islamorada, one of the islands in the Upper Keys. Islamorada is known for its magnificent sport fishing and is home to wide open waters, delicate coral reefs, and diverse marine life. Joe began to craft many nautical pieces of jewelry that reflected the environmental beauties all around them. From that humble little store in the Keys, the business grew.
