Nickel & Suede is a jewelry and accessories brand founded in 2014 by designer and mom of five, Kilee Nickels. Kilee is founder, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer. Her edgy, high/low style is creative and specializes in surprising elements that attract women who want to try new trends in unexpected yet approachable ways. Nickel & Suede is Kilee’s product arm that has grown from her basement to a Kansas City staple brand and employer. N&S designs, manufactures, and ships out of Kansas City with a team of nearly 95% women using Italian leather, 14 karat gold and sterling silver. Nickel & Suede pioneered the leather earring category 9 years ago with the classic teardrop shape: making statement earrings approachable and easy to wear.
