Manny Winick & Son, Inc. is celebrating 50 years in the jewelry business. Established in 1954 at 167 Canal Street in the heart of Little Italy in Chinatown, the downtown Diamond District, Manny Winick & Son, Inc. moved to 47th Street in 1984; the center of the diamond and jewelry wholesale industry in America, or Diamond and Jewelry Way as it is commonly referred to. Manny's son Richard Winick, who joined the company in 1982, is also a partner in the business. Richard has been on the Executive Board of the Business Improvement District (the B.I.D.) since 1997 and is also on the Marketing and Public Relations Committee for the B.I.D.
