Avis Fine Jewelry was founded in 1988 by Cecil and Avis Brewer. In 2012, Avis Fine Jewelry went under new ownership by Christopher and Heather Lewis. Owning her own jewelry store had been a dream of Heathers for many years. As a GIA Graduate Gemologist, Heather offers years of knowledge and experience in the jewelry world. As a promising business owner, Heather was asked to be a member of Independant Jewelers Organization in 2016 and was asked to serve on the North Carolina Jewelers Association board in 2022. Heather is also a part of the Thomasville Rotary and a board member of the Thomasville Chamber of Commerce. She gives a lot of her time to her community.
