I learned jewelry making from my late grandmother. In the late 80s and 90s, we made necklaces and bracelets together. I love working with gemstones, and creating my jewelry and juzu is like having a conversation with the stones. Sometimes, the designs in my head don't work, and the stones just don't fit together, so I have to "listen" to how they want to be combined. I make all my prayer beads with utmost care and in the same way as if they were my own. I try to source gemstones that are unique and special deals, some of the gemstones I can't buy anymore because they were deals of one of a kind. I like people to have unique sets of juzu beads or jewelry that aren't repeated. I accept custom requests but I don't copy others' designs.
