Using materials from the natural world surrounding her, Silverwaves Jewelry owner and metal artist Lissa Flemming, creates jewelry that reflects the spirit of the places and people she has met on her journeys across the globe. Whether it’s kayaking in the Baja, attending a stone setting workshop in the Porcupine Mountains, or dog sledding in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, Lissa is constantly learning new techniques and soaking in new experiences. Using native stones like Lake Superior basalt and agates set in sterling silver, each piece is a personal reflection of a moment in time. Lissa’s spirit is a part of each item, and she believes every piece finds its rightful owner.
